Questions to Make People Think About the Flat Earth
I think that one way to introduce to people about the flat earth is to NOT start off about the flat earth but simply ask questions about the earth, sun, moon and stars. This way you will not turn people off, and by making them thing about questions you ask them, they will have to form their own conclusions. When you allow others to “connect the dots,” they are more likely to believe or at least do more research on their own. So, to start this Thread off, I'll present a couple of questions:
Why does the moon not affect the lakes and rivers as it does the oceans? After all, the lakes and rivers are smaller bodies of water.
Since we are told that the larger planets influences and attracts the smaller ones, how is it that the moon can influence the ocean tides when it's 1/8th the mass of the earth? Shouldn't it be the other way around?
Why doesn't the water fall off the earth? Since water falls off of everything else that is not flat, why doesn't gravity make the water hold on to the sides of smaller objects?
Why don't we feel the spin of the earth?
How can we stay on the earth and not be thrown off when we are going 67,000 miles per hour around the sun?
How can satellites, space capsules and the International Space Station withstand 67,000 mph without disintegrating?
With the earth spinning at 1,000 mph, how is it that you can shoot a projectile directly straight up and it comes straight down in the same place instead of falling many feet west of where it was shot from?
Why are there so many cell phone towers going up and fibre optic cables still be laid when satellites should be doing all of this?
How can the North Star, Polaris, remain directly over the North Pole when we are travelling around the sun and, in turn, travelling around our galaxy? How can Polaris possibly be mirroring our exact moves?
How can the stars be mirroring our moves through space?
Add what questions you can ask.

Some people need all the answers before they believe in the flat earth.
The judge called up a witness to the stand, so this guy came up and said, “Judge, the witness couldn't make it; I can give you ten reasons why he can't be here.”
The judge responded, “OK, let me hear your ten reasons.”
The guy on the stand said, “The first reason why he is not here is that he's dead.”
The judge interrupted him and said, “Thanks enough, you can keep the other 9 reasons.”
The point is, that with a good enough reason, a person doesn't need to know any more. So, what would be the number one thing that you would tell someone about the flat earth? I would personally say, “Water can not stay on a round surface; water seeks its own level.” Everyone should get this; you can demonstrate this but it's so easy to understand that just by talking about it, people should get it. Once they do, that should tell them in no uncertain terms that the earth is flat – it did for me. Yes, it would be good to know the answers to other things, and we do find them. But if there are some things we can't answer, we should still accept the main idea. People are funny, for example, if a person has 50 questions about the flat earth, sun and moon, and you answered 49 of them but you didn't have the answer for the one, and that person said, “Since you didn't answer question _____ I can't believe in the flat earth.” Now, you answered the most important question or questions but not some other question. In other words, what would you think of that person? Would you think he's was serious?
I would go on to another person and not bring up the topic again – as there are too many people who haven't heard the message for the first time.

How Can Rockets Reach Other Planets?
Short answer: they can't!
Nearly everyone accepts without question of men landing on the Moon, of sending satellites to Mars and beyond. The current news at the time of this writing is, that a satellite was sent to Pluto 7.3 billion kilometres away. But flat earthers know this is stupid. I hope to show you how much more so it is with this article.
We are told a rocket travels anywhere from 20,000 – 25,000mph (36,000 is the figure given for the satellite that went to Pluto). This, I don't believe, but let's say it's true – how is this possible to reach the Moon, Mars, Venus or any planet? Using the figures that NASA and others give us – there should be no argument from globe earth believers. So, let's continue...
We are told that the earth is traveling at 67,000mph around the sun. if you were going to the moon, the moon would also be going 67,000mph around the Sun as it travels around the earth. Ignoring the fact that wedidn't land on the moon, how can we even reach the moon? Let me ask you this: If you are traveling in your car at 20mph, how can you catch up to someone going 60mph? You never will. In short, the moon is moving 3x faster than a rocket.
“Maybe the rocket goes in the opposite direction to reach it?” How does that make sense? By what we are told if the earth and moon is going at 67,000mph, how can you circle the moon? The moon will still be traveling at 67K. In fact, as soon as you take off you'll have to play catch up, as the earth and moon are going around the sun at incredible speed.
It's gets more ludicrous, as we are told our solar system is also orbiting around The Milky Way at an incredible 500,000mph. Thus, our “Buck Rodgers” space ship has to travel at this speed, too. And the craziness doesn't stop there, either.
We are told (lied to) that The Milky Way is moving away from where the “Big Bang” occurred at the lightening speed (literally) at 670 million mph. That's the speed of light. If our rocket cannot travel at the speed of light it would literally be lost in space; it would be outside of our galaxy in no time.
Do you see how crazy all this nonsense our scientists tell us? In fact, some science fiction writers have more sense than NASA scientists. At least they write into their novels that their flying saucers is filled with some form of force field to protect them, or they travel through a “worm hole.” At least making this up makes their story more believable.
Sending satellites to other planets they would have to play catch up, too. Other problems encounter would be how to do this without the rocket having special heat resistant metals. Another problem would be how the rocket can withstand disintegration. Of course, the answer to all this is that space travel is impossible!

How is it possible to travel four different speeds at the same time?
Short answer: It's impossible!
Anyhow, let's talk about this to see if this is possible. By doing so, we'll see if the astronomers are right or not.
We are told the earth 1) rotates at 1,000mph, 2) it goes around the sun at 67,000mph, 3) that we are orbiting The Milky Way at 500,000mph, 4) that our galaxy is moving away from the “Big Bang” at the speed of light (670 million mph).
First, we'll look at this for a person traveling four speeds and four directions at the same time. We'll use you as an example, if you don't mind.
1) Say you are standing on a small round platform that has a motor attached and all this is doing is turning around like you are on a potter's wheel. This would represent the rotation of the earth. We'll leave out the great speeds involved. Thus, you have one speed and one direction. 2) This small platform you are on is on a larger platform. This platform has its own speed and motor to propel it. But this platform is going in a large loop; it's on some sort of track. 3) This, in turn is mounted on something that is larger and has its own circuit doing its own thing at its own speed. 4) Finally, this is on its own platform, with its own motor, going in its own direction and speed.
Is all this possible? Well, in our little model you may be able to construct something like this but there's a problem with this, as we'll see later. But before we address this, there is the question of how to measure the speed. In our earth model, the speed would have to be measured by the earth – which is not moving. (Now, I know that globe earth believers say the earth is moving but I'm sure they can conceive of the ground standing still, as this is what they see everyday. This should tell them something about a stationary earth but that's another story.) All speeds from all platforms has to be measured by something that is not part of “the system,” and that would be the earth. After all, if you don't have a benchmark, how can you determine if you are moving?
The question is, can this model be applied to the planets and stars?
Short answer: It's impossible!
If you are leaving the confines of the earth (earth platform, if you will) you would be entering another platform with its own speed and direction. As soon as you jump in the air we should be feeling the effects of the 1,000mph rotation but we don't. If globe earth believers say you have to go in space for this or have to be a five miles up, for example, is when you would feel the 1,000mph speed, they are still wrong. Regardless of the distance there would be a point where you change from “one platform to another.” So, why doesn't this happen in our so-called space travel to other planets? There would be sever change of speed, the destruction that it will bring to the space ship; there would be the destruction to the planets. Yet this never happens.
Also, where is the “motor” to make this happen? What huge energy source is used to make these “platforms” move? Gravity is not an answer, as it doesn't exist, it's not even logical but that is another story.
IF the earth was spinning at 1,000mph, as soon as your feet leaves the earth you would feel it (actually you'll see it in the wind, you'll see it when birds and planes fly) but none of this happens. When we “fly past the moon,” there would be the 67,000mph “barrier” that the rocket would cross as both the earth and moon goes around the sun. Outside of our solar system there would be the 500,000mph that would be faced. There would HAVE to be some kind of barrier from one system to another. And if we were travling at such great speed, this speed of 500K would destroy all that is in the solar system. In short, even the first “platform” of 1,000mph would destroy all life and buildings on earth. In short, we would not be here reading this article.
Thus, Copernicus, Kepler, Newton are all others that spout their theories are all wrong.
