"It's easy to fly like an eagle when you live among the turkeys."
When you ask someone if satellites are real, they'll look at you like you are crazy or you just got of out of a cave. Everyone would say yes, they are real. After all, that is how our mobile phones work and our internet. But are they real? Just bear with me.
The first thing to think of, if satellites are real is to do a search online for satellites. You can use words like: communication satellites, artificial satellites, satellites orbiting the earth.
Actually do this and get back and tell me what you discovered?
Look at the pictures closely. Are they computer generated images (CGI)? Or are they little models? Or are they artist renditions?
If we are to have 3,600 satellites orbiting earth (according to wikipedia), then there should be many photos of real ones. So, where are they?
Even if you came up with something that looks like a photo but you do see that there are others that are computer generated, why have them at all? Why not real photos? What about videos of satellites traveling through space?
The one you think are photos, could be for the following reasons:
It's a photo of something real on the ground that was photographed and super-imposed on another background.
The CGI is so good you think it's real. After all, those computer games and the speical effects you see in films look darn good. In short, you need to be trained in computer images or photoshop to determine some of these “photos.”
What I Came Up With
This is what I came up with on the first page of Google, under “communication satellites.” You can see they are artist renditions or CGI. What's with these photos?
In order to take a picture of a satellite you need someone or something to take a picture. Well, of the 3,600 satellites, you'd think there would be at least some who can take pictures of other satellites. Then, what about the astronauts and cosmonauts who could have taken photos?
With satellites that are suppose to have great telescopic abilities, why can't they take photos of others? Strange!
Perhaps the answer to this is, that the earth is not round. And even with the earth being flat, you simply can't fly up there or have satellites up there that goes around earth hoving between “gravatation” and a little jet propultion. In other words, if they are within the atmosphere they would fall to earth – because they are a weighted object. If they were out in space – where there is suppose to be a vaccume – how can they fly there? You can't fly in a vaccume as there is nothing to push against. You can't have a partical vaccume, as something would fill it.
Therefore, anything we send up HAS to come down. How can a satellite do that when they are suppose to be up there for years unless it has an umlimited amount of fuel! If astronomers say that you can fly up there, as there is no vaccume but something to push against. OK, I'll go along with that but IF that is the case, why are the models and artistic renditions of satellites and not hundreds of photos that we should see online?
In short, there are not real satellites orbiting around us. This will bring up other questions which will have to be answered in another article.
