Lunar phases... how is this possible if the earth was flat ?

There are many good videos you can search for regarding flat earth moon phases.
I am also curious to know why we can often see the full outline of the moon but only part of it is visibly 'lit'.

I am also curious to know why we can often see the full outline of the moon but only part of it is visibly 'lit'. To reply to my previous question - Many people (ancients included) think that there is another planet called Rahu (The Black Sun).  ![]() Rahu - The Black Sun(Sorry, couldn't seem to embed photo here) But if this 'Black Planet' gradually covers the moon, how come we can still see the unlit part on occasion? I am thinking that there could be another planet to shield or cover the moon but it could be completely see through and therefore invisible to us here on earth. If the sun and moon receive their energy from the north star / pole then an invisible planet could actually shield the moon and this is why the shielded part would be unlit but we could still see the whole outline / shape of the moon. I'd like to see what others think of this. |
